First of all, Happy New Year and thank you to everyone who volunteered to help us with new graphics. We are currently in the process of negotiating a new layout. Hopefully everyone is enjoying the changes that were made in 2011.
E-mail Verification

In an effort to deter cheaters, we are now requiring e-mail verification for all accounts. For those who registered with fake e-mails, and those whose e-mails are now defunct, you will need to fill out the appropriate form to have your e-mail changed. This is located beside the "resend verification code" link. Thank you for your cooperation and have a very Happy New Years everyone!

Elections have been reset. At this time presidents will be responsible for setting registration guidelines and accepting horses into the registry. You will be responsible for your own election campaign. Currently you may only register your horse in one club, so apply wisely.

Happy Holidays!!! I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who shared what they are thankful for this holiday season. Congratulations to Baariq and Beautiful for winning a free 1-year upgrade. Also, the problem with the clubs is being worked on and should be fixed in early 2012.

It was brought to my attention last week that the club voting system is being abused. Several members have been banned for this. From today on anyone else that is caught cheating will be permanently banned. Likewise, if you have no horses and are not active in the game I will delete you from the ballot. Dishonesty is taken very seriously here, as it will get you nowhere in real life.

New Features Completed

The public breeding feature has been completed! You may now list your stallions for public stud. Clubs have also been completed. And we have altered the marriage code so that you may now marry humans that you do not own. Lastly, the error with the "age" search feature has been fixed.

As many of you have noticed, the Clubs have now been completed! For the time being, all players will be able to run for President. A feature that many of you have asked for - public breeding of stallions - will be available within the next two days. You will also be able to marry your people to other players' people. Please report any shows that do not run or horses that do not age. Enjoy!

Congratulations to Cairdeas who is our newest upgraded member. Also, I have begun working on two new search features, but they still have a few bugs. Thank you all for your patience. Likewise, Jade from Design1Online will be working hard on code for listing stallions to public stud. These improvements were only possible because of contributions from dedicated players like Cairdeas and Winterborne Racing. A new show category has also been added.

Turf Horse Under New Management!

Hello everyone! Over the next few weeks Jade from Design1Online and I will be making several modifications to the game that I think you will really enjoy. I know change can be scary, but I hope everyone will embrace it. Along with the new features, Turf Horse will also be getting brand new graphics.
If you have any questions or suggestions regarding the upcoming modifications, please post them on the Members board under the Community tab. On 11/11/11 I will randomly select one active member who has contributed on the Members board. This lucky person will receive a free 1-year upgraded membership for Turf Horse.
And please don't worry... Turf Horse will be staying true to the old-fashioned horse SIM with an RPG element that you know and love.
